Pompholyx

Pompholyx, or vesicular eczema, is the name of what's wrong with my hands, it's a type of Eczema. I went back to the doctor because the blisters had spread, and that's the name he gave me and told me if it doesn't clear up in 2 weeks, I'll have to come back in for blood work.

So not only is there not a whole lot I can do to get rid of it quickly, but I can pretty much expect this to happen again in the future. Because the blisters leave the skin open to infections so it's not uncommon to end up with a bacterial or fungal infection.

Since it's beleived to be caused by allergies, I've already talked to the ladies I work with and we found some gloves for me to wear in case it's one of the shampoos I reacted to. If nothing else it will keep me from making the irritation worse and let it heal.

Closely monitor your reaction to wearing any gloves as things such as petroleum-based products and other occlusive coverings trigger the sweating that worsens the problem. That is why it's other name is Dyshidrotic Eczema. Best of luck
