Today on "Being Mommy" we learned how to rescue a cat from the heating ducts.
After figuring out why the child is crying earnestly, pointing at the vent he has pulled out of the floor (again) and hearing meowing coming from inside-
Step1- Turn off the heat, but do remember to turn it back on sooner than two hours later when your wondering why is it so cold in the house.
Step 2- Get child to back away from the duct since he's probably the reason the cat jumped in anyway.
Step 3- Hold cell phone down in the hole so you can see the stupid cat and let her crawl towards you, while keeping the child away so she doesn't go farther in.
Step 4- Clean said cat since that's the best cleaning that area of vents has seen in a while.
Possible Step 5- Super glue the vents to the carpet! Haven't done it yet since I'm not sure how Nick would react to that, but jeez, this kid has a real fascination with the heating vents.

That's too funny. He's soooo like his Daddy was at that age. I love the pic of him trying to catch the sunshine.
