My cat needs rehab

Huh? is probably what your thinking with the title, isn't it? It's been awhile since I've posted last and it's been busy. Well, it's always busy but even more so.

Ben, my little angel, has had several incidents recently. One was he got into the fridge and got the eggs out and decided to smash them. I catch him and say "BEN!" and he looks up, turns around, and very hurried smashes two more before I get to him. The funny part of this one is that I was on the phone with my mother and she's laughing in my ear the whole time saying "I'm so glad you have a stubborn child". Then there is the make up on the walls, which I'm not sure how he got to it. The next one is mostly Daddy's fault, I now have two Woolly Bear caterpillars living in my dining room. I'm not sure what we'll do with them but I still have some reading to do since apparently it is somewhat popular to raise them.

Ayla has gotten her first tooth, or teeth to be accurate. Both of her bottom teeth came in at the same time and I'm pretty sure she is working on her top ones. Yeeeaahhh, breast feeding is coming to a halt soon because this one's a biter.

Now we get to the explanation of the subject line, I've been working on a quilt for Ben, in it's current incarnation, for about 2 years now, (Yes, I hang my head in shame when I type this, but is will be done before he moves out) I notice the other day that it is missing from my knitting bag. A few days later I look up and Loki is laying on it, luckily she didn't chew up the yarn. I say luckily because she has a yarn addiction and has eaten at least 2 feet of yarn in the past. She also has one to anything sewing related. She tries to catch the foot on my machine, how many times can you say my cat took my foot off? Thread is in the same category as yarn so she tries to nab that to eat and when she's not doing that she is plucking my needles out of the cushion with her teeth. I walk away for a few minutes come back and she has taken them all out. So now I'm sitting here I don't know if she ate one, I don't even know if any are missing, wondering would a metal detector pick up a needle in a cat?

Sorry Rachel, but I'm laughing too. It does a grandmother good to hear these things happening to our children as we were there once. Someday it will be funny to you too. Hang in there, he's almost out of the terrible twos.
