I wasn't so lucky that the little bug going around wouldn't notice me. Yesterday at 5 in the AM I was up and paying my dues. I hate being sick. Luckily, my husband, who is possibly one of the best in the world, called off work so he could take care of the baby and I could just be sick.
It only took me down for a day but it also put me a day behind in handing in my notice. So instead of a week it was less than a week. So depending on how many kittens my boss has tomorrow morning, I may end up doubling up next week and doing both. Let's hope it's only one or two kittens. I know normal is two weeks, but I've never been one to follow that. Of course it's better than the worst notice I've ever given, which can't be repeated in polite company.
