We took Ben to the zoo yesterday and he had a ball. We ended up going to Brookfield since they were calling for thunder storms yesterday, but luckily we only got a little sprinkle.

This one was at the camels. Ben didn't take much notice of them until they started moving.

The penguins were showing off nicely. One kept buzzing the window we were looking through.
Of course he insisted on walking a good portion of the day.
They also have a "children's zoo" which is more farm animals. But they do have an area where you can go in and pet some goats.
Ben was great both with approaching the goats and petting them.
You can see the bucket of brushes they had out. This little goat seemed to really enjoy a good brushing.
The seal enclosure was funny too. Ben had figured out how to get Daddy to pick him so he could see.

I don't think he wanted to leave.
He was asleep within minutes of getting in the car. He slept the whole way home and didn't even twitch. Of course I have more pictures that I'll probably post later.

I like how Nick's head gets chopped off. :-) Oh well, makes the pictures that much cuter! :-P
