Sooooooo, the house is quiet, Ayla is in her bouncy chair next to me. Something has to be wrong. I go to check on the absent child.
Sure enough, I find him in the bathroom. He's got about 20 ounces of bubble bath on him and the floor. I'm standing there wondering how do you clean this up? I briefly entertain the notion of shutting the door and taking a few minutes but quickly discard this idea because - I close the door, he freaks out, with all the bubble bath on the floor he falls and cracks his head open. I have to get him and Ayla to the ER and try to explain to them why my son is as slippery as a snot eel.- so what do I do.
I put the kid in the tub, no reason to waste all of it right? and start wiping. It took a while but I got it all wiped up. The floor is still a little slick but it can wait until Daddy gets home and I can have some back up.
Until the next episode......
